Ho ho ho babes! In the spirit of the holidays. I figured I would review Huda Beauty’s “Red edition” liquid mini matte lip set. I’m a big fan of red lips and if you are too then this set is good for you. It’s also a great stocking stuffer for any lipstick queen.
They go on really easy and its lightweight unlike some other matte lip kits I won’t mention. You can layer the look to make it look bolder or even create an ombre look with them. I decided to go with an ombre with “famous”.
The set includes “Showgirl”; which is a metallic red. This would be amazing to bring in the new year. Then “Famous” which is like a burgundy wine. Its a warmer tone red that looks great on almost every skin tone. Then there is “Heartbreaker” this one is one of my favorites. It’s a pinkish red but it looked more like strawberry to me. This one will look different on different skin tones. With that being said it will look good all year around. The we have “Material girl” for all those vampy suductresses out there. This one reminds me of plum wine.
Regardless which one it is, they all look fabulous. They last all day. Now don’t think this means that eating pizza or getting busy with your lover means this won’t smudge; it will. However, I still recommend them and I believe they are worth every penny. They are currently available on her site at Huda Beauty, for only $33.
That’s a swatch of the set showgirl, famous, material girl, and heartbreaker (from top to bottom). Let me know if there are any lip products you want me to test. I’ll be more than happy to be a guniea pig for all of you. Head over to my Instagram and check out my application process for this set @guiltlessglambeauty. Till next time lovelies! xoxoxo
Hi babes!! I’m reviewing my Sephora birthday gift. This year you had the choice between a Tarte sample set; that brought a small blush and a lip paint mini. I already had those so I went with the Claudalie set. It came with the Vinoperfect radiance serum and the Vinosource moisturizing sorbet cream.
The serum is an anti-dark spot serum. Not only does it help lighten dark spots but it also helps with preventing them. It also helps boost radiance and even out skin tone. It’s an oil free product that is ideal for all skin types. In order to see results you should at least try this product for a minimum of 3 months.
It has definitely helped with my dark spots and has made my skin more radiant. I have that inner glow like when I was pregnant with my little ones. The bottle design was great for easy application. You put it on after you tone and before you moisturize; day and night. Like any product use as directed to get the desired results. If you’re looking to perfect your complexion then I recommend this hands down.
The cream melts right into your skin without leaving a residue. Its lightweight and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Thanks to its “quick break” lipophilic technology, this cream to gel moisturizer will go onto the skin as a cream & finish as a gel on contact, creating a patch of moisture to help soothe, hydrate and strengthen the skin.
My skin said “thank you”, because it felt to hydrated ever time I used it. My skin felt supple. It is indeed a lightweight cream, so, I felt very comfortable day or night. My skin was the perfect canvas during the day. I didn’t have to use a primer prior to my makeup application. You only need to use a pea size amount and you’re good to go. If you are looking to use less product on your face when you put on makeup then I recommend this product, other wise I’ll say you can do with out.
I always end up loving my birthday gift from Sephora. I recommend becoming a rewards members. You end up getting goodies just like this one. The serum is a must try; and the cream is something that I leave up to you. Treat yourselves from time to time and till next time lovelies!! xoxo
Hi babes! I’ll be reviewing the “I want Kandee” eye liner from Toofaced . This is a long wearing eyeliner, with an angled felt tip. The applicator is a flexi tip that allows a precise application with mess. This was curated by Kandee Johnson. It smells like licorice and is highly pigmented. It is waterproof and dries quickly and lasts all day.
I honestly didn’t expect much from this collection. With that being said this liner thoroughly impressed me. It backs up all the claims. It last all day and even through some tears. I was having a very frustrating mom moment and it stayed. Eyeliner for me is one of those things that I don’t want to spend too much time on. The combination between the pigment and applicator gets the job done quick. The liner is extremely versatile as well. If you want to smoke out the liner it is possible by smudging it before it dries with black eye shadow.
I created a few different looks with them:
Twin Cat Eye
I definitely recommend this product. The price point of $18 isn’t too bad. The only downside is that it is currently out of stock. Don’t fret though lovelies they are planning on restocking this fabulous liner, so don’t forget to grab yours. Till another time babes! xoxo
“Always be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn; then be a unicorn.”
Hi lovelies!! I’m going to be doing a review on the “Unicorn Tears” La creme lipstick by TooFaced cosmetics. I decided to go with this formula instead of the latex formula because I am not really big on too much shine. This is more of a low-key unicorn look. It has an iridescent shimmer. It’s great for everyday use. This is good to use alone or as a topper. The La creme formula is unique because it is creamy and provides intense hydration. It feels fabulous on your lips.
The reason it is super hydrating is because it contains white lotus extract; which has anti-oxidants that hydrate the lips and provides extra lip conditioning. This formula also contains peptides that help stimulate collagen. This helps give your pretty pout that smooth finish. Another added bonus for this product is that you don’t need to overly coat your lips do get that moisture, one swipe and your lips feel lush. I definitely recommend this product if you going for that everyday shimmer and you don’t want anything too dramatic.
Below I provided a look I did to go with the “Unicorn Tears”. If you want to see a tutorial leave me a comment and I’ll upload a video to my channel. Till another day babes. Stay gorgeous! xoxo
Hi babes!! Today I am going to be doing a quick review on the TooFaced “Better than sex” mascara. I can be very critical of mascaras. I own too many to count. I’m not the biggest fan of falsies, mainly because in the long run they can damage your already pretty lashes. I’m not saying I don’t use them but only for a special occasion or a specific look I am going for. With that being said I like mascaras that make your natural lashes look full and fluttery.
A big tell for me if the mascara is going to back up what it claims, is the wand. This mascara has been in the market for a very long time. They have the regular and the water proof version of it. Both wands are the same on both. I went with the regular one. I had my reservations given because of the size and shape of the wand.
When I find a mascara that works for me; I am loyal to it through and through. However, mascara for me is one of those makeup items that I can’t live without. So, I am always trying new ones and testing them out. My favorite up to this point was the “upward lash” mascara by MAC. I honestly didn’t think any mascara would surpass this. From the moment I tried this mascara from day one I noticed the difference. I am completely in love with it. It backs up everything it claims. It is long-lasting, it doesn’t give you raccoon eyes, and best of all it makes your natural lashes look like you have falsies on.
It’s a noticeable difference. This is a big recommendation and for all those mermaids out there the waterproof is just as good. I was so excited with doing this look I used TooFaced on my entire face.
If you want to see a tutorial on this fall look leave me a comment and I will upload a how to on my channel. Don’t forget to get your very own “better than sex” mascara, they’re also great stocking stuffers. Till next time babes! Stay gorgeous!! xoxoxo
Hi babes! I’m back to give my review on BH cosmetics “Take me back to Brazil” eye shadow palette. This is the second time they dropped this palette. Its amazingly popular. This time however they added 5 extra colors; so, we have a total of 35 colors in this lovely palette. All the colors are highly pigmented and versatile. The palette is inspired by Rio’s carnival. I have provided swatches of all the flashy hues.
I decided to do a red smokey eye with this palette. I figured with the holidays coming why not. Not to mention there really isn’t too many red smoky eye looks posted. If you want to see a tutorial on this look, let me know and I’ll either post a video or a step by step on the site.
Leave me a message or a comment and let me know which kind of tutorial you would like to see. They have all the colors under the rainbow in this coveted palette, which gets sold out pretty quickly. The best thing of all is that this palette is only $16.99. If I am not mistaken it is currently on pre-order. If you want to get your hands on this palette go to: BH cosmetics Till another time babes!! xoxo
